How’s Your Memory? A Quick Test

Review the following list for a short while. Then, distract yourself for about 15 minutes and after that try to remember as many items on the list as you can:

Hill  Elephant
Stranger  Boat
Cup  Swimming
Book  Hole
Happy  Lamp

How many did you remember?

8 to 10 indicates a good memory
5 to 7 indicates average memory
3 to 4 indicates poor memory
0 to 2 indicates very poor memory

See how many of these words you can still remember tomorrow. Most people will remember about half of the list.

You can achieve dramatic improvement in your score on this and other memory tests, not to mention better performance in real-life activities, by practicing the techniques in The Revolutionary Memory Course. You learn how to remember objects, lists, names, concepts, numbers, shapes and general information. You acquire the ability to remember lists such as the one here or even longer, not just for a few minutes, but for days, weeks and months if you would like to or need to.
